The retired monster hunter and collector Dr. Anderson, perhaps the greatest benefactor of “The Wardens”, has emitted a sending asking for help and warning of danger. “Send help to my tower, dangerous creatures are loose. I’m holding it in, but I might lose it too. Do not waver, this is urgent.” With such an important figure making contact, The Wardens promptly sent their best squad available: Simon Trinity, Danny Lanone, and Roldan Frostgrief.
Arriving on the scene, the first obstacle they find is the tower’s own defenses. A forcefield is up, covering the whole building. As the adventurers look for a breach, Roldan decides to test if the barrier can stand to his sword, and it doesn’t. The barbarian loses balance and enters, followed by his teammates. Curiously, they attempt to move back but are now trapped inside the forcefield. Apparently, it was designed to keep the danger in, not out.
As the party pushes the heavy door and enters the mage’s tower, many sounds can be heard – none of them seem friendly, however.
